This Privacy Policy explains how Perseus Investments LLC (“Perseus Loans,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit https://perseusloans.com (the “Site”), apply for, obtain, or service a loan with us, or otherwise interact with us.
Important GLBA Note (Financial Privacy): If you apply for or obtain a financial product or service from us for personal, family, or household purposes, some of your information is protected by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”). For that information, our GLBA consumer privacy notice—provided at or before account opening and available on request—will govern. - Geolocation Data: approximate location derived from IP or device settings.
- Audio/Visual: call recordings (where permitted/required by law and disclosed at call start).
- Inferences: insights drawn from the categories above to support underwriting, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
2) Sources of Personal Information
- Directly from you (online forms, applications, portal, phone, email, SMS).
- Automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar tools on the Site.
- Third parties including credit bureaus, identity verification and fraud-prevention providers, payroll and financial data aggregators at your direction, service providers, marketing/lead partners, public databases, and affiliates.

- Verify identity, prevent fraud, manage risk and security, and comply with law.
- Operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Site and our services.

- Conduct audits, debugging, quality assurance, and analytics.
- Protect our rights, enforce agreements, and respond to legal requests.
4) Disclosures of Personal Information

- Service providers and contractors (IT, hosting, analytics, payment processing, KYC/AML, identity and income verification, customer support, printing/mailing, marketing on our behalf).

Selling/Sharing Personal Information: We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out mechanisms.
Sensitive Personal Information: We use SPI only for permitted purposes (e.g., identity verification, underwriting, servicing, security, and compliance) and do not use it to infer characteristics.
5) Cookies and Online Tracking
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, perform analytics, and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if you disable them. The Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
6) Retention
We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined here, including underwriting and servicing, complying with records retention and tax/audit obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and legal requirements.
7) Your Privacy Rights (U.S. States)

- California (CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information as defined by CPRA. California residents may also request that we limit the use/disclosure of SPI to permitted purposes; we already limit SPI accordingly.
- Nevada: We do not sell “covered information” as defined by Nevada law.
- GLBA Carve-Out: GLBA-regulated personal information is exempt from certain state privacy rights; our GLBA notice governs that information.
8) Marketing Communications & Text Messages
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. If you receive SMS messages from us, you can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
9) Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10) Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
